1. Scope of This Policy

Professional Security Consultants, Inc. (“PSC,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy and values your trust. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you of the treatment and handling of personal information that we may learn about you from using our website at (the “Site”), from purchasing services from us or engaging with our content, or by use of any of our services (collectively, the “Service”). 2. Agreement to Terms

By using or accessing our Service in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined below and the policies outlined in our Terms of Use, and you hereby consent that we may collect, use, and disclose your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, then you should immediately discontinue use of the Service without providing us with any personal information.

Our website does not use cookies to track or identify visitors. When you visit our website, we may collect the domain names of visitors who interact with the Site. This information is aggregated to measure number of visits, average time spent on the PSC Website, pages viewed, etc. We use this information to measure the use of our Website and to improve content.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 16 and PSC does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If you are aware of, or suspect that, someone under the age of 16 is using the Service without permission, please notify us immediately by contacting us as detailed in the How to Contact Us section below. We maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration, or unintentional destruction. We have implemented various security measures to protect both the personal information and the general information that we receive from you through the Service. Whenever you give out personal information online there is a risk that third parties may intercept and use that information. Although we seek to protect your personal information and privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online. To the extent permitted under applicable law, we assume no liability or responsibility for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized access by third parties, or other causes beyond our control.

This section applies solely to residents of the State of California. It supplements the information contained in this Privacy Policy and is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”).

We collect and use Personal Information for the business and commercial purposes described in the “Our Use of Personal Information” section, including to operate, manage, and maintain our business; provide our services; comply with legal obligations; and protect our rights and safety.

B. Disclosure of Personal Information for Business Purposes

In the preceding twelve (12) months, PSC has disclosed the categories of Personal Information listed above to service providers and contractors for business purposes consistent with California law.

PSC may also disclose Personal Information:

  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or reorganization;
  • To comply with legal obligations, subpoenas, court orders, or regulatory requirements;
  • To protect and defend legal rights or prevent fraud.

We may use or disclose aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, research, and business purposes. Such information does not identify any individual and is not considered Personal Information under California law.

C. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

PSC does not sell Personal Information as defined under California Civil Code §1798.140.

PSC does not share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.

PSC has not sold or shared Personal Information in the preceding twelve (12) months.

PSC does not have actual knowledge that it sells or shares the Personal Information of consumers under sixteen (16) years of age.

D. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under California law, subject to certain statutory exceptions:

1. Right to Know / Access

You have the right to request:

  • The categories of Personal Information collected about you;
  • The categories of sources from which the Personal Information was collected;
  • The business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing Personal Information;
  • The categories of third parties to whom Personal Information was disclosed;
  • The specific pieces of Personal Information collected about you.

2. Right to Correct

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information we maintain about you.

3. Right to Delete

You have the right to request deletion of Personal Information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.

4. Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information.

Because PSC does not sell or share Personal Information, we do not provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out mechanism at this time. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide required opt-out rights.

5. Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

If we collect Sensitive Personal Information, you have the right to limit its use and disclosure to purposes permitted by California law.

6. Right to Non-Discrimination

PSC will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your California privacy rights.

E. Exercising Your Rights

We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days and respond within forty-five (45) days as required by law. If additional time is needed, we will notify you.

Before fulfilling your request, we must verify your identity. We may request additional information sufficient to verify your identity and authority to make the request.

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require written authorization and may also require you to verify your identity directly with us.

F. Data Retention

PSC retains Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our legal rights.

When determining retention periods, we consider:

  • The nature and sensitivity of the Personal Information;
  • The purpose for which it was collected;
  • Our legal and regulatory obligations;
  • Operational and business needs.

We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you indefinitely.

For your convenience, we may link to third-party sites and services, or otherwise display third-party content through our Service to provide increased value to our visitors. We have no control over these linked sites, each of which has separate privacy and data collection policies and practices independent from us. As such we have no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions and are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any such websites. This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date at the top of this policy. PSC has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes and to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect, especially before you provide information, and particularly personal information, directly to us through the Service. In the event of a material change to this Privacy Policy, we will provide a message through our website or via email informing you of the change.
